Uravu Labs, a climate-tech startup revolutionizing sustainable water solutions, has secured a strategic investment from ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL to accelerate the expansion of its renewable-energy-powered water-from-air technology.

Founded in 2019 by Swapnil Shrivastav, Uravu Labs is pioneering a clean water generation method using proprietary liquid salts and renewable heat sources like solar, biomass, and industrial waste heat. This innovative system extracts clean drinking water directly from air and is already serving the hospitality and beverage sectors. With this new funding, the company plans to scale operations, expand commercial deployments, and further innovate climate-resilient water infrastructure.

“Our mission is to reimagine water infrastructure for a climate-resilient future”, said Shrivastav, CEO and Co-founder of Uravu Labs. “By combining science, sustainability, and scale, we’re making clean water accessible while reducing environmental impact. This partnership with ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL will help us accelerate growth and bring our technology to more industries and communities globally”.

Uravu Labs claims to have already conserved over 2 lakh litres of groundwater and eliminated thousands of tonnes of single-use plastic, positioning itself as a key player in India’s sustainable water innovation landscape.

Commenting on the investment, Harsh Deodhar, Principal at ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL, said, “Uravu’s groundbreaking technology aligns with our mission to support environment-impacting startups. They are addressing the critical challenge of water scarcity while advancing climate resilience”.

The partnership aims to set new benchmarks in sustainable innovation, showcasing India’s growing leadership in climate-tech on a global stage.
