Venture Catalysts Floats Second Fund to focus on Growth-Stage Fintech Investments
SuperOps.ai, a startup focused on service automation and remote management, has raised $14 million in Series A funding.
Addition and Tanglin Venture Partners led the round, with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners India and Elevation Capital, as well as angel investors Giovanni Sanguily (CEO of Honey CRM), Sidharth Malik (CEO of CleverTap), Noel Wax and Lisa Woods (CEO and COO of Groundswell Group), and Abhi Kumar (CEO of Groundswell Group) (Partner at M12 Ventures).
When the beta platform was launched in May 2021, the company raised $3 million.
Arvind Parthiban and Jayakumar K founded the startup in 2020 with the goal of disrupting the stagnant Managed Service Providers (MSP) market with the AI-powered professional services automation (PSA) and remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform.
It has worked with over 30 clients since launching its full-service platform.
Prior to joining SuperOps.ai, Parthiban and Jayakumar held senior leadership positions at Freshworks and Zoho. Parthiban and Jayakumar previously collaborated at Parthiban's marketing software business Zarget, which was acquired by Freshworks.
Put 25-30% of your money into excellent equities and wait and see with new-age stocks: Chadha, Gurmeet.
Parthiban, CEO of SuperOps.ai, said in a statement, “The MSP space is in desperate need of innovation and modern software to replace the existing legacy solutions. Customers have been stuck with bloated and extremely outdated on-premise tools. SuperOps.ai is here to modernize the industry and provide users with smart, AI-powered, cloud-based software that is more efficient and effective. With our AI-powered PSA-RMM platform, clients can now focus on the core business and leave the old hurdles behind.”
According to market intelligence reports, the global managed services market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.6 percent from $243.33 billion in 2021 to $557.10 billion in 2028, representing a massive opportunity. Furthermore, the MSP industry is estimated to have over 150,000 players, the majority of which are small businesses with only a few technicians.
Smiles.ai, a dental care firm, has raised $23 million in a Series A round.
The business claimed in a statement that MSPs confront various obstacles, including rising complexity in client tech expectations, difficulty in recruiting suitable staff, customer acquisition issues, and struggles with managing multiple tools and platforms, citing multiple polls. According to the statement, SuperOps.ai provides all of the capabilities an MSP requires within the platform and on the cloud, including IT Documentation and Project Management.
In a statement, Lee Fixel of Addition said, “We are excited to support SuperOps.ai as they bring about a much-needed change in the MSP space, a field that has not yet benefited from the pace of technological innovation seen across most other industries,”
According to Tarun Davda, Managing Director at Matrix India, the SuperOps.ai team has built a category redefining product over the last few months, and the firm is doubling down on its investment.
According to Akarsh Shrivastava, Principal at Elevation Capital, the current products used by IT MSPs were created years, if not decades, ago, and SuperOps.ai has made it extremely easy and seamless.
