Cybersecurity startup Zeron has secured $500,000 in a seed funding round led by Varanium Capital, a fintech-focused investment fund. The round also featured participation from the Yatra Angel Network. The newly acquired capital will be directed towards furthering Zeron’s research and development endeavors, particularly in the realm of AI-powered cybersecurity, and expanding its global footprint.

Vikram Pandya, Head of Research at Varanium Capital, expressed his confidence in Zeron’s approach to cyber risk posture management, emphasizing how it aligns with the evolving needs of organizations worldwide. He believes that Zeron’s innovative solutions, driven by artificial intelligence, will have a significant impact on the cybersecurity landscape.

Zeron specializes in contextualizing cyber risks and harnessing the capabilities of artificial intelligence to empower clients with the insights needed to make well-informed decisions in the realm of cybersecurity. Notably, Zeron had secured its first institutional investment from 100X.VC in January, followed by contributions from angel investors such as Anoop Mathur, Founder and President at Core Media, and Partner at AM Capital, as well as K.R.S. Jamwal, Executive Director of Tata Industries.
