This startup was initiated with an aim to create pure organic and chemical free food for the people living in cities. It was started in 2016 by two friends Kaustubh Khare & Saahil Parekh who are IIT Kharagpur Graduates. The company offers DIY rooftop farming and gardening kits for urban farming. The company’s flagship offerings include IoT-enabled rooftop farming equipment that provides organic vegetables, enabling roof owners to grow huge quantity of pure organic vegetables, so that they can turn their rooftops into farmland for agricultural purposes. Based on the report, the company claims that, more than 16,000 sq km of rooftop space is being wasted for not utilizing properly in urban areas. Their vision is to transform the unused rooftop spaces into organic farmland which will cultivate the garden fresh organic and chemical free fruits and vegetables. The startup was a part of AIM Smart City Accelerator Programme, who invested in their activities. They are ranking 29th out of 206 active competitors in the agritech industry. Till date they have collected over $76.3M in funding across 55 funding rounds involving 62 investors.

This is known as India’s largest provider of integrated payments technology to leading enterprise brands. The company was started by Rajeev Agrawal, who is an IIT Bombay Graduate. The company was started with an aim of creating a one stop platform for organization which ERPs, CRMs, billing, and marketing solution in an integrated format. They always believe in risk taking, self-management, offering quality services on time, and adaptability to any up-gradation. They have achieved 8 patents in the Indian payment industry, and got in-principal license from the RBI to operate as a payment aggregator. The company recently raised Rs. 40 crore in recent in first close of its ongoing Series E round. By now they have bagged over $95.36 million funding.

It is an online rental platform, which provides multiple home appliances and multi-category household products electronic gadgets along with rent on a monthly basis. Their wide offerings also include attractive packages with combination of furniture and electronic goods. They also have in-house logistic team who does all the installation. They also let the customer sublease the products what they are taking in rent which creates an additional flow of revenue. The company teams up with manufacturers, vendors, and even individual asset owners to source products that include furniture, appliances, and electronics, which customers can rent every month. This reduces upfront costs and allows them to scale rapidly. The unique business model was introduced by Geetansh Bamania, Achal Mittal, Ajay Nain and Gautam Adukia, who are the graduates of IIT Madras. It their latest series D funding round it has raised $25.3million and overall they have collected $93.2million over 18 rounds.
