The CEO of Vedshaala, an UP-based streaming startup, Kushal Srivastava, stated, “The target audience of the effort is Gen-Z. The aim is to come up with well-researched and authentic material on the subject so that they do not have to wade through reels, clips and scattered information.”

An Angel investor, Ujwal Sutaria, conveyed, “Ram Mandir Inaugration in Ayodhya, today is the demonetization/ Jio moment for devotion/ spirituality tech sector. We will see more and more tech play and numerous startups in this massive sector of $50 billlion or almost 2% of India’s GDP.”

Expanded Landscape of Spiritual Tech Startups
One of the famous devotional startups Sri Mandir which was associated by Peak XV and Elevation Partner is all set with its unwavering spirit to celebrate Deepotsav by lighting 1 lakh lamps to glow the whole Ayodhya from Jan 18th to 24th. Sri Mandir App exclusively offered these services at free of cost to senior citizens so that, old adults can extend their prayers and offerings to Lord Ram from their homes. Founder & CEO of Sri Mandir, Prashant Sachan expressed his gratitude to be a part of this noble act through their spiritual-tech apps and successfully creating a Divine Drive across the whole country.
He quoted, “We realise that there are more social needs on top of it where people would want to listen to Satsang and Pravachan and be able to engage in their communities.”
Another Kolkata-based startup Utsav, which is the brainchild of Surojit Basu, Ankita De, and Prajata Samanta has created a unique ad state-of-art divinity through their spiritual app. They are helping in offering puja, broadcasting live darshan, and home delivery of holy Prasad. This platform is also concerned with personalized puja and bridging the gap between devotees and their lord. The startup has recently raised Rs.2 crore in a seed funding round led by India Quotient. This platform is designed in a distinguished way where can offer puja at different temples across India. To book the slot, devotees need to choose the time, date and have to enter the details of the family members. After that, this platform will arrange everything and send your Prasad direct to your home.
Co-founder Surojit Basu expressed in delight, “We feel blessed to have been able to serve tens of thousands of devotees so far. Our aim is to substantially improve our user experience, as well as scale up the operations in the times to come.”

Delhi based Spiritual tech app, Vama, which was established in 2020, by Aacharya Dev, Himanshu Semwal, and Manu Jain has raised about $2.8 million in funding. Their aim is to transform traditional offline mandir ecosystem into a digital realm through content-driven products designed to captivate, empower, and promote enduring engagement. The company CEO Manu Jain affectionately expressed that, the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has opened a new horizon for spiritual startups in India. According to the executives, ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony they have experienced 35% increase in organic searches.
Manu Jain added, “We aim to transform the traditional offline mandir ecosystem into a digital realm through content-driven products designed to captivate, empower, and promote enduring engagement.”

Devotional platform for temples Dev Dham, which was designed and developed by IIT graduates Pranav Kapoor, Suyash Taneja, and Sagnika Chowdhury, aims to connect devotees globally with Hindu temples, offering online daily darshan, pujas, and digital donations. Recently, this platform has raised, Rs.6 crore in its seed round, led by Titan Capital, All In Capital, Veda VC and TDV Partners. Presently, Dev Dham has built a network of 500+ temples and 2000+ pandits in 18 States. In the future, it aims to become a one-stop devotional platform to cater to all devotional needs.

Co-Founder of Dev Dham expressed his gratitude saying, “Enthusiasm for the inauguration is so high that individuals from even remote areas of the country are contacting us to make offerings. Social media is flooded with discussions about the Ram Mandir inauguration, leading to increased awareness among people.”

Alliance of Government & Private Platforms
The Master Plan 2031 for Ayodhya, an excellent initiative by Government to attract the investors and startup owners to envision multifaceted development schemes and projects such as spiritual university, a green-field township, and an urban forest. Government has already commenced the operation of Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway station to improve the connectivity of the city. To accommodate the huge rush of people and celebrities the airport welcomed more than 39 private jets in less than 30 hours on that historic day. The upbringing of this city is exclusively dragging the attention of real estate developers from hospitality industry Taj, Radisson, and ITC, speeding up their pace of progress in the city to accommodate the sudden surge of pilgrims from all over India.
Radisson Hotel Group announced the opening of Park Inn by Radisson in Ayodhya. This sudden growth has marked the new dawn of development for Ayodhya. Gurgaon based startup Staqu Technologies founded Atul Rai has generated an innovative software, called Jarvis which aims to revolutionize the security measures at the Ram Mandir inauguration. They have collaborated with UP Police and helped them by analysing video footage in real-time, identifying potential threats, and alerting authorities with impressive accuracy.

The divine doors of the Ram Mandir pushes boundaries by opening new opportunities for the young startups to empower, progress and lead the entire nation successively.


Another streaming startup Vedshaala has come up with a distinctive idea of creating a series ‘Battle for Ayodhya’ by a thorough research and collecting authentic documentations aiming to target the GenZ, so that they can get a distilled idea the rich cultural heritage of Ram Mandir and Ayodhya.
