TRIGEN Decarbonisation has got its own in-house R&D facilities supported by research at IIT-M, enabling it to become a leader in providing cutting-edge energy solutions in India, offering innovative products such as heat pumps that provide heat as high as 135°C. Another breakthrough solution is their ultra-low ambient heat pump, which operates efficiently even at temperatures as low as -35°C, as demonstrated by their successful installation and operation in the difficult terrain of Leh & Ladakh. TRIGEN Decarbonisation has also developed combined heating and cooling solutions tailored to AI data centers, offering a COP (Coefficient of Performance) close to 10, unheard of in the cooling industry.
“Currently, we are number one in the industry in our product ranges, and with ongoing research and development, we plan to stay at the forefront. In the next six to eight months, we will launch a 160°C heat pump, and within a year, we aim to achieve a 200°C heat pump, positioning ourselves alongside global trailblazers. Our solutions not only drive technological advancement but also have significant environmental and social impacts.
For instance, a 5-kW system can reduce approximately 30 tons of CO2 annually. With large-scale deployments, we are poised to cut tens of thousands of tons of CO2 emissions”, says Ashish Sethi, Co-Founder & CEO, TRIGEN Decarbonisation. He shares that the pharmaceutical, beverage, electronics industries and many such industries would benefit from using their heat pumps by saving up to 60 percent on electricity and fuel bills, not only meeting their heating requirements, but also cutting down on their cooling requirements by utilising the cooling delivered by the same heat pump, essentially hitting two birds with one stone.

Heat Pump Standardisation
The company is actively pursuing research and development, staying ahead of market trends, and driving the narrative on heat pump integration within India’s industrial landscape. TRIGEN Decarbonisation, being an industry leader, is actively collaborating with government bodies and organisations like the BEE and ISHRAE to establish clear guidelines and standards for heat pump usage and deployment. The goal is to create a standardised and competitive market. By focusing on both very high and ultra-low temperature ranges, these efforts aim to ensure that the heat pump industry adheres to standards that promote safety, energy, efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
