The global market for wastewater recycling and reuse technologies is expected to reach $40.5 billion by 2026 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.8 percent. Recycled water helps to improve drinking water quality and can be used to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in irrigation. Water recycling and reuse have seen an increase in demand in recent years due to rising water consumption and water supply shortages. The water situation in India is deteriorating by the day, as the demand for water continues to rise. A lack of water sources, rapid urbanization, poor management of water infrastructure, and water abuse are also contributing to the problem. This is where Cloud River Technologies
brainstormed and devised an innovative solution to the water problem by recycling and reusing their own waste (grey) water.
The company offers three product options. Initially, they intend to introduce the LW G800, a compact domestic greywater treatment system. Domestic grey water discharge is treated for reuse in the home. Non-potable applications for treated recycled water include toilet flushing, clothes washing, general cleaning, car washing, and gardening. Every day, an average of 60 percent of freshwater can be saved. The LW G800 is built to recycle 800 litters per day. This system is best suited for standalone homes that can service 2-5 bedroom homes for up to eight people. It has a slim and compact design. It has a small footprint and can be installed in a 3-foot passage.
In Phase-2, they intend to launch a slightly larger system, the LW G1600 Supernatural Greywater Treatment System, which can cater to small group housing/small commercial development/resorts, and more. This system can accommodate 15 to 20 people which has a capacity of 1600 litters per day.
They also plan to release a Blackwater treatment system, the LW B1500 Simply Natural Blackwater Treatment System. This can be used in place of a traditional septic tank system. This is ecofrienly, and the treated recycled water can be used for irrigation/gardening.
Customers can benefit from their products in a variety of ways, including a tangible benefit, a reduction in water bills, and less reliance on town supply or boreholes. There is also less reliance on private water tankers, who may impose their own terms and conditions during the summer months. Finally, no wastewater (except toilet water) is wasted. The firm's technical and management professionals have over 100 years of combined local and global experience. The majority of the team's experience is in the water industry, which is the company's most notable feature. They bring in a wealth of experience to the table as a group, including technical and management knowledge, global experience, professionalism, and integrity.
Our future roadmap is to have every household in India save freshwater by using our innovative smart system in their backyard in order to recycle and reuse their own wastewater. We prefer to identify and prioritize water stressed cities one at a time. We would begin in Bangalore and then expand to Southern India and, eventually, PAN India", concludes Vageesh Nonavinakere, Founder, Cloud River Technologies.
