Director
With the aim to upgrade the traditional modelling systems that are both time and cost consuming with limited capacity for construction designing, ONE CLICK BIM enabled comprehensive BIM solutions that ensure all the disciplines involved in construction are properly integrated and coordinated through the BIM model. The AEC industry demands effective designs with better data accuracy and detailing at a quicker pace. OCB’s solutions cater to such emerging demands by making sure of the early detection of clashes among the building
components, thus reducing both cost and time. Since its inception in 2019, OCB has poised itself to leverage technology in order to redefine construction modelling and modifying it through innovation while complying with various national and international regulatory standards. Besides its presence in the domestic market, OCB has marked its global footprint by extending its operations to the US, the UK and UAE.
Solutions Offered
OCB provides a broad range of BIM services from design development till the completion of the construction project that goes beyond the mere 3D building modelling and manages resources efficiently that culminates into saving time and cost as well. The company offers VDC services which extracts digital models and simulation for better visualization of the design. They also offer 3D laser scans that enable them to run as-built documentation sans the possibility of human error. The laser scanning collects ample amount of data about an existing building in shorter span of time. Their MEP modelling, coordination and fabrication is system that creates a virtual model of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems which lays out detailed information of each building component’s size, location and function. Their cloud based BIM services optimizes the idea of creating proper coordination and communication among the stakeholders involved in a project such as owners, contractors, manufacturers, architects and engineers.
Kuntal, Director at OCB states, “We prioritize understanding the client’s requirement in a detailed manner to create the right specifications for the project. Being in the service industry, customer satisfaction is one of our focuses. With every project coming with its unique asks the journey has become a learning process for us as we perfect our services with each client engagement that helps us acquire an eighty percent client repetition ratio”.
Future Endeavours
Being a technology driven organization, OCB is always ready to adopt the latest technological practices to cater to the latest industry demands. As the construction industry has always trodden the path of technology quite slowly, OCB wants to introduce more digital tools in the space in order to revolutionize the Indian AEC landscape faster. “At this moment, our focal point is digital twin technology as we are planning to integrate the digital twin model with AI techniques and sensors. In addition, we are willing to integrate Building Management System (BMS) with BIM. We are currently working on it and hoping to achieve this platform by 2025”, Kuntal concludes.
