As the digital healthcare landscape continues to evolve, Devenv has emerged with a clear mission, to simplify and modernize healthcare delivery through technology. Founded by experts in radiology, hospital operations, and software engineering, the company was established in response to the fragmentation and inefficiencies in clinical workflows. What began as a focused effort to digitize radiology operations has grown into a full-fledged health tech company offering RIS-PACS, HMS, and telehealth products.
Early work with radiologic impact centers revealed critical gaps in care, leading to the development of SimpliVid. Officially launched in 2022, SimpliVid achieved rapid success, being adopted by over 600 hospitals in its first year. Building on this momentum and strong adoption in Latin America, Africa, India and the Middle East, Devenv introduced an HMS product tailored to regional needs. Today, its products are also deployed in government healthcare projects across India.
The Rise of Customizable Digital Healthcare
Building on their firsthand experience in radiology operations, Devenv identified real-world issues often overlooked by existing products in the market. While many of those products were legacy and outdated, Devenv took a different approach leveraging modern, cloud- native technologies and integrating AI from the outset.
Their products were designed to be modular and highly customizable, rather than generic, one-size fits-all solutions. This strategy enabled them to deliver scalable and adaptable products that meet diverse client needs while ensuring flexibility, efficiency, and strong real-world performance.
Expanding its product suite, Devenv’s flagship offerings include SimpliRAD and Innocare HMS. SimpliRAD is a RIS-PACS product that supports radiologist workflow and reporting, built on cloud-native technology with AI-assisted analysis.
Innocare HMS offers comprehensive modules such as patient registration, billing pharmacy, lab, bed management and both OP and IP functionalities, with simplified customization. It also integrates AI-based triaging systems to enhance hospital operations. In addition to these,
Devenv has ventured into telehealth, further strengthening its presence in digital healthcare delivery.
Priti Singh Kumari, Director, says, “At Devenv, we encountered challenges on both the product and operations fronts. Interoperability with legacy systems was addressed through robust APIs and adherence to compliance standards, while data security was ensured by implementing HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO protocols. Scalability was achieved through cloud-native deployment and edge computing. On the operations side, we overcame adoption resistance in resource limited regions through localized training, dedicated on-ground teams, and regular follow-ups enabling even non-tech-savvy professionals to adapt and optimize workflows effectively”.
A New Pulse in Global Healthcare Innovation
Building on its momentum, Devenv has expanded to over 600 hospitals worldwide, processing more than 6.5 million images. This growth was achieved through a distributed cloud infrastructure that ensures high availability and low latency, supported by automated QA systems to monitor image quality and system performance.
With regional support hubs in India, Africa, and the Middle East, and predictive load balancing to manage peak usage, Devenv delivers 99.9 percent system uptime. Its unwavering focus on reliability continues to drive consistent client satisfaction and global impact.
Further strengthening its innovation engine, Devenv’s team comprises cross-functional experts radiologists, hospital administrators, software engineers, data analysts, and data scientists. They approach each challenge holistically, ensuring every solution is both clinically relevant and technically sound.
Rather than replicating standard market features, the team focuses on solving real-world problems by co-designing with hospital partners. Feedback from radiologists and administrators is directly integrated into product development, reflecting Devenv’s commitment to collaborative innovation.
From day one, Devenv has prioritized cloud-native technologies, embedding scalability, remote accessibility, pay-per-use models, disaster recovery, and data redundancy. In regions like Africa and the Middle East, Devenv ensures compliance by deploying its solutions within local cloud environments.
Carrying forward its mission of accessible and impactful healthcare innovation, Devenv continues to expand its global footprint. In Latin America, radiologists played a crucial role in refining its flagship products, while in Zambia, a leading diagnostic chain reported a 45 percent reduction in radiology report turnaround time, a 30 percent decrease in administrative overhead, and a 20 percent increase in patient throughput.
Building on this momentum, Devenv is set to launch AI-powered systems, IoT-based vital monitoring, and telehealth services, starting with South Africa. With over 600 hospitals onboarded in just three years, Devenv’s growth reflects its vision of delivering smarter, more connected, and universally accessible healthcare, supported by strong local partnerships.
Looking Ahead
Continuing its commitment to innovation, Devenv is actively enhancing its telehealth modules and integrating AI-driven assistance across its platforms. While AI capabilities are already embedded within SimpliRAD, the company is now incorporating similar features into its HMS product to improve operational efficiency and usability. Operating through ZamTrueTech in Africa, Devenv is preparing to launch a major project in South Africa next month, marking a significant expansion milestone.
Priti emphasized, “Our focus remains on delivering true healthcare technology solutions. While many existing products may appear legacy, this observation is not intended to discredit any specific solutions. Rather, it reflects the rapid evolution of technology, where earlier-built systems may no longer meet the demands of modern healthcare infrastructure”.
