The Indian EdTech Startups market was valued at $5.13 billion and is projected to reach $29 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of over 19 percent from 2023 to 2028. Currently, there are two types of colleges in the country, one belongs to INDIA which mainly consists of Tier I colleges having resources, technology, and funds, and another belongs to BHARAT consisting mainly of Tier II and III colleges having limited resources, funds and no technology.

An increasing number of students from BHARAT (Tier II and III colleges) are in constant search of EdTech platforms that not only promote inclusivity but also bridge the knowledge disparities that exist between them and students from tier-I institutions. Standing out among its peers is TechnoSpectra EdTech, an innovative startup committed to empowering BHARAT (Tier II and III college) students with strong local ecosystem and academia including universities, colleges, students and industries including skill institutes and local companies at one platform.

Since its establishment in 2022 at Nagpur, Techno Spectra EdTech has rolled out an application called UNICONNECT, embodying the concept of University Connect. The startup has dedicated itself to fostering strong collaborations with universities and colleges. The platform has achieved significant milestones by successfully onboarding four state universities in top 13 from Maharashtra. Its strategic expansion
encompasses a network of over 1800 plus colleges, ultimately impacting the educational journey of approximately one million students. “Through these partnerships, we aim to digitize and centralize Universities and Colleges by providing a platform enhanced with AI to access quality education and provide valuable resources that benefit both students and institutions alike”, says Shubham Patil, Co-Founder & CEO, UNICONNECT.

UNICONNECT is at the forefront of transforming the Indian education system by leveraging AI to create a seamless & more connected learning ecosystem

Skill Connect

UNICONNECT's Skill Connect aims to transform the way students access skill development opportunities by creating a seamless connection between students and local skill institutes. It serves as a bridge between students and the training programs they need to become job-ready, offering a streamlined platform where they can find courses, workshops and certifications that are tailored to industry demands. This connection ensures that students not only receive theoretical education in their colleges but also gain hands-on skills that make them competitive in the job market. “Our mission is to build One Nation-One App for Education, ensuring that every student, no matter their location, has access to quality learning resources and opportunities”, says Soham Kharabe, Co-Founder & CTO, UNICONNECT.

Career Connect

UNICONNECT's Career Connect is designed to bridge the gap between students and the local job market, offering a direct link to ‘Earn and Learn’ model with part time jobs, internship and employment opportunities. It creates a streamlined pathway for students to access local part-time and full-time job listings, internship openings, and campus placement drives that align with their academic background and career interests. By bringing together universities, colleges and industries on a single platform, Career Connect ensures that students are not just prepared academically but are also connected to the right opportunities to launch their careers.

As a young nation, India faces the challenge of making its students skillful and prepared for real-world challenges. Moving ahead, UNICONNECT aims to address this issue by empowering students, educators, and industry partners with tools that align education with the demands of the modern world. Through innovative solutions and a collaborative approach, it is committed to reshaping the educational landscape of India for a brighter and more inclusive future.
