With the increasing levels of pollution in the country's environment, India is fighting its biggest war with pollution where the pollutants are imbibing into our bodies and resulting in critical health issues for the people. This current state of affairs did not go unnoticed by Aakash Sinha and he felt the urge to do something towards the increasing vehicular pollution. It was during that time when he was studying the electric vehicle industry and coincidentally had the chance to travel in a Tesla during his trip to Canada. Having experienced the power of an EV and the kind of revolution it can bring to the country, Aakash knew he had found the answer of his concern on how to tackle the rising pollution levels in India. "Along with my team, I started working on researching the industry's potential and the roadblocks that were preventing the penetration of EV's. During the brainstorming sessions, we realized that the thing that was lacking in the segment was proper infrastructure. At Zevpoint, we are offering people that infrastructure and providing them with end to end charging solutions for electric vehicles,' says Aakash Sinha, Founder.

The absence of reliable charging infrastructure remains one of the most pressing issues in the EV sector which is leading to a reluctance among the buyers for this unconventional invention but through its integrated charging solutions Zevpoint is leading the way in building a sustainable and scalable solution to create a wave of acceptability among the public. Built in close collaboration with a European company, the company's charging stations have been tested extensively for safety and performance and are managed by an interconnected mobile application to enable users to locate and access the charging stations.

electric vehicles but due to the absence of infrastructure, anxiety rage and lack of standardization and awareness, there exist several hurdles in the way. Withstanding these challenges, Zevpoint is contributing significantly in the sector and is creating an ecosystem for new players by devising a new business development model and supporting establishments and offering them consulting solutions to make them ready for electric vehicles. With more than 1500 different interactions across the spectrum in the last one year, the company has managed to create a prototype for both the physical and software product and has formed collaborations with various establishments to set up charging stations. Currently based in Haryana, the company now intends to focus on expanding its market to Delhi and Mumbai and is planning to move to cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata in the next phase.

It also has a target to set up 10,000 charging stations in the next three years across locations and plans to have tie-ups with retail chains and malls to set up charging stations on a subscription model. "We have ear marked a few areas to concentrate on in the next few months and we will primarily focus on exclusive tie ups for set up of charging stations, spreading awareness among EV owners about Zevpoint and improve our offerings based on the feedback," he concludes.
