A time when healthcare is considered to be the topmost right of every individual, the lack of quality infrastructure, skewed doctor-patient ratio, non-access to basic medical facilities and the extensive growth of chronic diseases - especially in the rural counterparts of the country is not unknown to us. In the majority of the villages and remote interiors, the medical facilities are believed to be deplorable. Taking into consideration the serious picture, it clearly states that there is a dire need of new practices and procedures to ensure quality healthcare reaches the deprived patients of rural India.

This soon proved to be an eye-opener for a group of technologists who forayed in the healthcare space with the idea to make healthcare accessible, affordable and available to all segments of the population, especially to the most vulnerable ones using a technology platform. “What caught our attention was

the highly unorganized healthcare segment, specifically in the rural regions. Hence, we decided to start right from the scratch by understanding the rural healthcare scenario. We saw the huge gap and a lot of opportunities to tap in,” says Jayakishor Bhanja, Founder & CEO, HealthBot.

trackers and other sensors to collect contextual data helps them to give actionable insights.

The Journey
HealthBot has put up affordable healthcare centres in areas where others fear to tread. Today, HealthBot has been successful in delivering healthcare services directly to a population of 40,000 through its three centres. HealthBot engages rural schools to provide preventive school health checkups. Till date HealthBot has enrolled around 5000 school children. The hallmark of a healthy society has always been measured by how it cares for the disadvantaged, HealhBot engages corporate working in Rural India to plan and deliver community health programs.

HealthBot is the technical partner to Government of Odisha for the "Kuposhan Mukt Bharat" program. HealthBot has deployed its platform to manage the malnourished child of the state.

The platform is integrated with large hospitals for referrals. Large hospitals use our platform and rural health centres to improve their outreach through programs like Cardio-OPD, eye care and other speciality care programs. With a team of 17+ people and 15 consulting doctors, HealthBot aims to become a primary form of healthcare provider in rural India.
