The organic food market in India is a niche market, and in the coming years, the market is expected to see wider penetration. Demand for organic food is expected to increase in the coming years as a result of the rising incidence of food adulteration. Milk & Meadows, established in 2019, is a Jaipur based family-owned and managed Gir cow farm committed to providing a single source, unadulterated, hormone and chemical-free A2 Milk and milk products which are made slowly and mindfully.

Started as a small family initiative, the dairy farm has grown with the needs and demands of the community. The brand stands for sustainable, small farm practices that create healthy cows, happy workers and strong communities and ensure every drop is filled with wholesome goodness so the customers can trust that they are choosing the best for their family.

Since the inception of the brand, the endeavour has been to spread goodness from farm to the community rural as well as urban. Rahul Kapur, Founder, Milk & Meadows says, "We have generated employment to almost 30 local men and women from the surrounding village so far, and hope to continue to add to our growing team in the future. We ensure that our employees are happy and healthy, mindful and motivated. Our mission is to make our community healthier with pure and premium quality milk. We hope to grow and spread this goodness to more parts of our country!"

Milk & Meadows is known for their Pure Gir cow milk, Bilona Ghee and Hand-churned
butter, the farm-fresh buttermilk is extremely popular through the summer months.

Sustainable Environment
The products offered by Milk & Meadows are made in small batches, from pure A2 milk of Indian Gir cows, and offered in recyclable glass packaging and earthen pots to ensure the preservation of purity, quality, and flavor as well as keeping the environment clean. The company follows environment-friendly and sustainable practices at our farm.

Every effort is put into ensuring a clean, hygienic and healthy surrounding at the farm, for Milk & Meadows' farmhands and their herd alike. The sheds are washed and swept twice daily to keep the area free of insects, flies and fleas, and cow dung is collected and recycled to make an own chemical and pesticide-free vermin compost which is then used as fertilizer for the fresh greens. The `gaumutra' is drained into the fields and used as a plant spray too as it works as an organic pesticide/insecticide for the vegetation at the farm.

Milk & Meadows' priority is to maintain the natural goodness and nutrition of their products and stands firmly by the resolve to maintain standards

Milk & Meadows' priority is to maintain the natural goodness and nutrition of their products and stands firmly by the resolve to maintain standards, diligently monitoring quality parameters with daily testing of each batch made at their farm. Keeping that in mind, we needed to be conscious of not being overpriced. We try our best to work within tight budgets to control extra costs but do not compromise on the quality of care and nourishment required for the cows."
