Dr Pramod Kangutkar, Founder & Promoter, Bhupen Mehta, Co-FounderThe electric vehicle (EV) industry is transforming global mobility, driven by the need for sustainable transportation and advancements in clean energy technology. Governments and consumers are embracing EVs, fueling rapid growth. However, the industry faces significant challenges, including battery supply constraints, high production costs, limited charging infrastructure, and performance optimization issues.

As a leader in this evolving space, MK Power & E-Mobility is committed to revolutionizing EV manufacturing for transport and passenger mobility. The company strategically partners with trusted battery manufacturers to ensure high-quality cells and an advanced battery management system, enabling efficient power delivery for high-performance motors. By addressing these critical challenges, MK Power & E-Mobility is paving the way for a more reliable &scalable EV ecosystem.

Innovating Electric Three-Wheelers

MK Power & E-Mobility, founded by Dr Pramod Kangutkar and Bhupen Mehta, is a pioneering force in the electric three-wheeler segment. Committed to eco-friendly transportation, the company differentiates itself with cutting-edge design and innovation. Unlike many competitors, the firm’s three-wheelers feature a robust full-metal body, enhancing durability and load capacity.

Additionally, the chassis and system are designed to accommodate widely available spare parts, ensuring easy maintenance. The company’s biggest innovation lies in its use of Synchronous Reluctance Motors (SRM), which outperform conventional PMSM and
BLDC motors by offering adjustable magnetism, consistent performance at high temperatures, and eliminating the need for energy draining cooling systems.

The company operates from Pune, a hub for automobile manufacturing, ensuring a seamless supply chain for essential components. “With a well-established network of nearby suppliers for most vehicle parts, we minimize procurement delays and maintains consistent production. While certain electronic components are sourced from Bangalore and Delhi, our strategic location significantly reduces supply chain complexities”, speaks Dr Pramod Kangutkar, Founder & Promotor, MK Power & E-Mobility.

In compliance with evolving government policies and safety regulations, MK Power & E-Mobility benefits from India's push for electric mobility. As a zero-emission vehicle manufacturer, the firm aligns naturally with environmental standards while leveraging government incentives and duty reductions on EV components. The company actively seeks subsidies to further enhance affordability for customers.

Driving the future of mobility with innovation, efficiency & sustainability, MK Power & E-Mobility is committed to redefining transportation for a greener tomorrow
