OTSI developed NITI Aayog's National Data and Analytics Platform (NDAP), an ambitious outcome-based project, and OTSI is the sole technology partner in this prestigious project. OTSI was chosen, by the Indian government, over many other Tier-I partners, because of its experience and track record of delivering complex Data & Analytics solutions at scale and speed.
The NDAP platform aims to improve last-mile delivery and enable seamless use of Indian Government data through an intuitive, user-friendly platform. NDAP is a one-stop shop
for Government data in a way that is truly useful to users (citizens to policymakers). The portal currently offers 203+ datasets from 47+ Central Government Ministries and Agencies across 14 Sectors and will add new datasets up to the village level in the future.
Using specially designed algorithms, the data fetched from various Government portals is processed to ensure uniformity in semantics so that two or more different datasets may be compared. OTSI's software solution enables Government data to be presented in a user-friendly format and promotes data-driven decision-making and research. Today, the company's platform has analyzed and processed over 30,000 source files from various departments and combined them into 203 datasets on NDAP. The company is working on getting more datasets onboarded onto the platform in the coming weeks. The team took every measure to ensure NDAPs backend architecture is scalable and resilient to cater to the future needs of India.

OTSI has transformed Andhra Pradesh State Transport Department by providing complete digitization solutions by integrating the portal with Aadhar, Vahan database, financers and insurance companies to make vehicle purchases hassle-free and seamless for the citizens of the State. This has built transparency in dealings across the department functions and drastically reduced RTO offices' queues by more than 80 percent.
The simplified step toward digitization provides approximately 76 online Services for the transport department. Some digitalized services include: registration of passenger and commercial vehicles, issuing of driving licenses, vehicle permits, furnishing and fitness of the vehicles, payment of commercial taxes, citizen services, and renewal of vehicle registration, finance and insurance.
The digital transformation of the Andhra Pradesh State Transport Department has been around for a few years driving an online model which doesn't require people to visit the RTO. This more successful model has the potential to be replicated in other States across India for better citizen services and to bring transparency and efficiency in the functioning of Transport Departments.
OTSI has developed an intuitive web and mobile application allowing easy navigation based on the Aadhar card for Andhra Pradesh State Transport Department. The time taken for issuing a permanent number for the vehicle has been reduced from 90 days to one day, which is unimaginable in the citizen services parlance. The solution directs the delivery of this permanent number to your address mentioned on the Aadhar card. Vehicle and owner's pictures are captured digitally at the time of purchase of the vehicle, which can act as a recovery tool for the Police department in case of the theft of the vehicle.
