People have grown hemp for centuries, using it to make ropes, clothes, food, and much more. Cannabidiol, or CBD, is non-intoxicating and one of the more than 540 phytochemicals found in the cannabis sativa or hemp plant. Hemp contains CBD and Tetrahydro cannabinol(THC), a compound that gets people high; however, it contains more CBD and less THC. In recent years, public interest in cannabidiol has grown due to its availability and promising health benefits. According to a study by Grand Review Research, the global industrial hemp market size is estimated to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.8 percent from 2022 to 2030.

Brands around the world are now incorporating hemp in various forms for its myriad benefits. From sprinkling hemp seeds to add a healthy dose of micronutrients and protein to applying CBD infused topical oils to the skin, consumers are embracing this power packed plant in their day-to-day lives. People also use CBD to help with various mental and physical health related issues, including pain, nausea, addiction, and depression. CBD oil is a potent alternative to allopathy due to its benefits, such as improved brain functions, cellular regeneration and lifespan.

Based out of Haryana and established in 2020, Neet CBD is a cannabidiol oil brand that combines cannabis and ayurveda for wellness care. The founder CEO, Avi Ekveer Sharma, envisioned setting up the organization after his uncle was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. His internet searches for cancer treatments and therapies led him to discover cannabis oil. This discovery sparked a deep interest in the field of cannabis and culminated in the foundation of Hemped Souls International, one of the fastestgrowing hempbased companies in India today.

The organization offers WHO GMP and NDPS 1985-compliant products that are THC-free. All the products are Schedule E1 drugs, which require a prescription. "Human body has natural receptors for CBD known as CB1 and CB2 receptors which make hemp-based CBD compound safe for consumption. All our products are completely natural and do not contain synthetic compounds in any form", shares Avi Ekveer Sharma, Founder & CEO, Neet CBD.
Broadly, India has two types of hemp-based industries. First is the food industry, which comes under FSSAI and requires a THC level of 0.3 percent or less. The second is for medicinal purposes and includes cannabidiol. Hemp plants grow under diverse environmental conditions and are not very demanding. In India, under Section 10 of the Indian Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act of 1985, the state governments have the power to license the cultivation of cannabis for medical and scientific purposes. While hemp grows wild in India, farming is still prohibited. The raw material is sourced by the government and then processed by organizations for various purposes.

Neet CBD is reinventing hempbased CBD & cannabidiol oil in India to provide customers with a wide range of effective, high quality products surpassing global standards In CBD

Ensuring Safety & Quality
What separates Neet CBD from other players in the market are the assured quality and superior products that are safe and do not pose any side effects. Neet CBD ensures stringent quality checks at every step of production, from sourcing the right high-quality raw material to the finished product. All products and individual batches are tested in Indian laboratories, enlisted, certified, and approved by AYUSH and NABL to obtain a Certificate of Analysis (COA). Neet Vijaya Thailam is a highly favoured product for severe pain. It is also used for alleviating the symptoms of chemotherapy, Alzheimer's, Epilepsy, and psychosis. The oil is available in multiple variants and contains CBD oil in different potencies, each suited to target problems and symptoms of varying severity and nature. All the products are free from synthetic colours and harmful preservatives and are vegan, cruelty-free, and halal.

Leveraging Cutting-Edge Techniques
To ensure quality control, the organization has a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Indore with a 50-liter per hour production capacity. Hemped Souls International ensures the most premium quality of CBD oil is extracted by implementing Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) procedure. SFE utilizes Carbon Dioxide to eliminate the chances of contamination and is one of the more environment friendly extraction methods. SFE is employed to ensure the complete removal of THC from plants because THC is the compound that causes Euphoria and intoxication. "The organization has both inhouse quality checks and third party laboratory testing from Israel, the US, and Canada. Hemped Souls International also makes sure that all the batches are inspected and certified individually to ensure uniformity, purity, and superior quality", adds Avi Ekveer Sharma.

The organization has grown exponentially by over 300 percent in the last fiscal year and has gained more than 3000 clients.

Robust Roadmap
Neet CBD aims to increase its customer base by penetrating major cities and villages in India. The organization also wants to increase its manufacturing capacity and revenue to Rs. 1000 crores in the next five years. Through continuous R&D on hemp, Neet CBD aims to provide superior products to existing and future clients.
