Established in December 2012, HFE visions to drive India’s development by leading a change in generating energy using renewable resources such as wind, sun, hydro & others. The company endeavors to provide scalable, sustainable & cost-effective clean power thereby reducing carbon emissions for a 'Greener Planet' to the future generations.
Leading to a Cleaner and More Secure Energy Future
The inception story of Hero Future Energies, a family promoted company of Hero Group, one of the largest conglomerates has evolved during the early years of the country’s renewable energy revolution. In retrospection, foreseeing the growth in the solar industry, many companies had just begun to take shape and numerous independent power Producers were entering the market along with
Sunil Jain, CEO, Hero Future Energies, speaks, “At Hero Future Energies we are driven by planetary needs, guided by positivity and are entirely focused on energy. Our main idea behind this initiative was for the generation and distribution of renewable energies. Through our platform, we try to bring in a change in the energy mix of the country, by increasing the share of renewable.”HFE is poised to integrate renewable energy in the total energy mix of the country, by identifying the best solutions and install systems benchmarked against in the best-in-class engineering standards
Driven by the growing potential of the Indian renewable energy market, HFE has carved a niche in the space. The company has poised to integrate renewable energy by identifying the best solutions and install systems bench marked against the best-in-class engineering standards. Focused to deliver futuristic and clean energy, HFE implements wind, solar (Grid Connected) & rooftop solar projects. In a span of five years, the company has excelled in installing renewable energy capacity of ~1200 MW till date and has an advanced pipeline of ~1100 MW.
“We have installed projects in all the three segments in more than 10 major states based on high quality operating asset across the wind, solar PV, rooftop plants & storage. Currently, we are looking to develop - wind-solar hybrid projects and energy storage systems with solar power plants, primarily using lithium-ion technology, which is one of the most cost-effective in the present context,” mentions Jain.
HFE also enables the customers with rooftop solar plant via online tracking. Through technology-enabled solution,
An Edge over Competitors
'Make good partnerships and make the partnerships succeed'- fortifying this as the success mantra, HFE is amongst the very few Indian companies with Significant Strategic Sponsorship (SSS). With their strategies& brand legacy, HFE understands the project requirement much better than any other competitors in the market. Key Management:
Sunil Jain, CEO, Hero Future Energies
A mechanical engineering graduate from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, Jain is happy with his bold decision to join the renewable energy sector without having any industry knowledge or background. It was a steep learning curve in the initial period, but he didn’t take long to understand the nuances of the business. When Hero Future Energies approached him in 2012, it was one of the few, perhaps the only, corporate house (barring Tata) to back a renewable power IPP. It was, he says, probably the only renewable energy IPP that built an entire platform with only family capital and no private equity.
