To this end Mero Lunch was established in 2020. The Nepal based startup is dedicated towards serving hygienic everyday meals to the corporates. It aims to deliver healthy and homely meals timely to the door of an individual corporate as well as an organisation as a whole. Its main motive is to mitigate health issues that arise out of having an unhealthy meal, usually served around the office corners. By subscribing to the Mero Lunch meals plan, organizations have been able to reduce their kitchen overhead expenses up to 30 to 40 per cent.
According to Ritesh Puri Operations Head, Mero Lunch,"we realised that several corporate employees are skipping their daily lunch to rush up tooffice. Therefore, we came up with an idea to serve healthy and homely meal mainly Rice Set (DaalBhat) which is considered to be an important dish in Nepal." The company has been serving homely cooked DaalBhat with the standard of high quality and standardized packaging.

Corporates can subscribe to their plans and place orders every day through the system credential provided to them, where prices are less for subscribing to a corporate meal on monthly basis. Apart from this, the startup also provides lunch packages and catering services for seminars, events, meetings etc. Also, Mero Lunch ensures timely delivery of the meal.
The Roadmap Ahead
With a core team of 10 members with years of experience in food preparation and related educational background, the team is quite effective and efficient at work. From selecting the right ingredient, to finished product and packaging, every individual is trained after joining the organization. With 1000 individual orders per month, the company is serving more than 200 corporate individuals daily. According to Bishal, digital marketing has helped them reach their potential customer and they have been able to retain the customer by their quality and satisfactory service.
"We hope to become bigger in coming days by our performance and excellent service with the help of our energetic team," explains Bishal. Mero Lunch will be focusing on maintaining the same quality and hygiene throughout its existence. It has started the process of producing necessary material like packaging stuff which could be challenging for the future. It is also training a batch of kitchen and packaging staff to set up a new kitchen. So with the new opportunities and challenges, the company is aiming to act accordingly and achieve great heights for its business.
