The ideation of Ghumne Chalo Tour & Travels took place at a time when Siddharth Mittal began his professional stint in a call centre of a travel company. It was during this time that he noticed the immense interest and love people had towards travelling. He thought to himself that travelling as a profession could be equally great. With this, he began showing much involvement in actively knowing how his seniors attended the clients, how they dealt with clients’ queries, how they customized travel packages for clients and much more. This went for some time and exactly after a month; Siddharth quit his job to start his own venture. He named it Ghumne Chalo Tour & Travels.

The operations initially started from a small room however for

Siddharth every day was a new learning experience. He read and researched about trips, packages, gathered information about destinations and went ahead to carve a niche in the market. “When I started researching, I came across so many new things that are associated with a travel package. It’s not only the hotel and transfers there are so many things that are required to complete a travel plan. Here, we are providing a one-stop shop for our valuable customers,” says Siddharth.

The Road Ahead
Since inception, Ghumne Chalo has recorded a decent growth. The company started off with one single member and today over a span of three years has gathered a team of 5 people. “Initially, we sold few domestic destinations and now we do packages all over the world,” he mentions.

Team Gumne Chalo is currently focused on expanding the team. “We are planning to expand our operations in 2 - 3 more places by the next two years. We also aim to become the wholesaler for some of our majormost selling destinations,’ he concludes.
