Capital markets continue to play a vital role in sustaining economic growth and maintaining financial stability. Cyber risks have increased; according to a study published by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the World Federation of Exchanges, over half of the world's securities exchanges were the subject of cyber attacks last year.
