With everything going digital, the use of gadgets like smartphones, laptops, tablets, and headphones, etc, has increased in the last five months. Openings such as USB port, jacks are sensitive parts and it is important to make sure that the disinfecting solution does not enter the device through these openings. Make sure that you unplug your device and then use anti-bacterial wipes to clean it.

Disinfectant wipes without any additional abrasives work quite well for all gadgets. You can use 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipes or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes; gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your gadgets. One can shop for antibacterial screen wipes for phone, easily available online, or at a local store near to your premises.

Use a mobile sanitizer to clean your phone, other gadgets instead of using regular hand sanitizer. These mobile sanitizers are easily available at quite affordable prices on almost every essential item shopping site. Regularly remove your phone’s case as germs and bacteria can get behind it. Use microfibre cloth wet with gadget sanitizer but doesn’t wet it too much; it might damage your gadgets.

If by any chance you are not able to find gadget sanitizer, use a solution made of soap and water. All you need is to fill a bowl with water and add a few drops of antibacterial dish soap into it. Dip a microfiber cloth into this soapy solution, squeeze out the excess water in order to prevent your phone away from any damage. Wipe your gadgets with the microfibre cloth or normal tissue paper. Avoid using cleaning rags as they might scratch or crack your gadgets screen.

Apart from following these measures, avoid sharing your gadgets with others also keep them away from your face. However, there is no reason to panic all we need is to follow basic hygiene guidelines and keep you and your family safe.
