DashPV Technologies: Contributing to India's Goal of Achieving Solar Self-Reliant
Depletion of fossil fuels, a finite resource, is of concern to the entire world. Fossil fuels contribute to environmental pollution. Increasing the production of renewable energy has been a priority for India. The solar PV industry has grabbed special attention from Govt. of India under the initiative of Make-in-India and the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission. It has an ambitious plan to obtain nearly 60 percent of the country's power needs from solar energy, which requires an increase of approximately 25-30 GW per year. Several companies have entered the market with the government's encouragement of the indigenous production of solar modules and their components.
