Depletion of fossil fuels, a finite resource, is of concern to the entire world. Fossil fuels contribute to environmental pollution. The solar PV industry has grabbed special attention from Govt. of India under the initiative of Make-in-India and the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission.

DhaSh’s range of junction boxes comprise sprepotted, non-potted, potted, and TRIO (split)units advance technology diodes. After its incorporation, DhaShsteadily increased its production capacity by going in for backward integration. Reduced dependency on imported components has helped the company increase its market share.

DhaSh PV Technologies is ISO 9001:2015 certified while its junction boxeshave been approved as per IEC 62790 standards. It has been awarded the EN 50618&IEC62930 certificate for cable and IEC 62852for PV Connectors. The company has been honoured with the Startup India award from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.

The Government of India is committed to increased use of clean energy sources and has a major focus on enabling energy transition through provision for boosting domestic manufacturing of solar power equipment, in line with India's larger global commitment to tackling climate change.

To support domestic manufacturing of solar panels for meeting the target of 280 GW of installed solar capacity by 2030, GOI took some Initiatives such as performance-linked incentives (PLI), basic customs duty (BCD) on imported solar cells and solar panels, and the creation of an approved list of models and manufacturers (ALMM) are going to be great assistance to Indian companies in achieving their goals while reducing the country’s dependency on imported equipment.
