Agriculture in India is projected to register a Compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.9 percent during the forecast period 2022-2027. However, there is a need of revolution in the sector. Traditional ways of agriculture are not always very successful. Unscientific use of chemicals and fertilizers is reducing the soil productivity and affecting the profit margin of farmers. Moreover, the growing urbanization in the country is decreasing the availability of fertile land for agriculture. Hence there is an urgent need to adopt alternative methods and technologies to improve productivity. This is very important for a developing country like India , that have to feed its huge population....
