A startup building vertical software for landscaping and construction services, Attentive.ai has bagged $7 million in a fresh funding round as it looks to develop its AI-driven offerings & enlarge them to more businesses.

The funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, the all-equity Series A round, which follows the earlier $5 million seed investment. Also the startup funding round received participation from Attentive.ai’s accessible investors including Peak XV’s Surge and InfoEdge Ventures. In addition, an investment firm based in Mumbai, Tenacity Ventures has come on board this time through a secondary investment.

The inventive startup plans to use the elevated capital to develop its AI-driven offerings, speed up & and expand its presence within the U.S. market. Also the startup has a occurrence in Noida, India.

The start-up Attentive.ai presents two flagship products which are Accelerate - business management software for outdoor services and Beam AI - an AI-based sales automation platform for the construction industry.

Accelerate mechanizes the process of sales & operational workflows by enhancing the output & effectiveness.

On the other hand, Beam AI focuses on computerizing the process of estimation for building projects, bringing numerous construction estimates concurrently by automating the blueprint tracing.

Speaking to this in interview, Shiva Dhawan, Co-Founder & CEO, Attentive.ai, says “Earlier, businesses used to go on to the site, measure the site — go in with a measuring wheel and measure the entire site. It used to take hours and days. Now, they can just enter the address of that site. Computer vision will process all the available aerial imagery of that site and give you the data. We are also doing generative AI-based automatic scheduling of different properties and jobs that companies need to do”
