B2B Engineering startup Venttup raises undisclosed amount from Unicorn India Ventures
Unicorn India Ventures led a seed funding round for Venttup, an Industries 5.0 startup that aims to create a scalable engineering and capacities network globally with its primary focus centered on India. The amount raised during the fundraising remains undisclosed at this time.
The raised capital will be utilized by the startup to expedite business expansion and develop technology to manage Indigenisation Programs.
Venttup, founded by industry veterans Sandeep Nair (Co-Founder and CEO), M. Wasim Ankli (Co-Founder and COO), and Joseph Panakkal (Co-Founder and CMO), who bring extensive experience from Hitachi Energy, Siemens, L&T, and Kalpataru Power, seeks to transform the manufacturing sector by connecting millions of MSMEs on a unified digital platform.
The startup stated that by providing businesses with a resilient and sustainable supply chain, it enhances operational efficiency while promoting environmental responsibility.
By offering cloud manufacturing and sustainable solutions, Venttup helps big corporations outsource their engineering requirements while providing an opportunity to diminish their carbon footprint.
The startup promotes self-reliance and sustainable growth in India's manufacturing industry by providing critical engineering solutions and complex components customized to specific needs, with localization of production within the Energy, EV, Aerospace and Defense sectors.
Sandeep Nair, Co-Founder & CEO of Venttup Ventures mentioned,Venttup addresses a key manufacturing challenge by decreasing dependence on imported components through the promotion of the China Plus One strategy and aligning with government initiatives to boost local content in critical projects. In the upcoming 12 months the company is targeting to magnify its revenue fivefold by building a high-performing team, and also it aims to target a diverse clientele, and expanding its reach into new markets. It aims to raise its customer base by adding 50 new customers to its platform.
