Cusmat is a Bengaluru-based firm that uses artificial intelligence and the internet of things to recreate industrial facilities, train employees, and evaluate those employees. Cusmat was founded by Abhinav Ayan and Anirban Jyoti Chakravorty in 2016.

By utilising cutting-edge immersive technology, it enables "Learning by doing" to facilitate faster skill upskilling, increased productivity, and improved safety in industrial settings. Anirban Chakravorty, co-founder and COO at Cusmat, commented on the development.

The Bengaluru-based startup gives businesses the ability to hire, evaluate, teach, upskill, and monitor the progress of their employees' learning. Cusmat asserts that their standardised training solutions would increase production by 30–40%, improve safety by preventing accidents by 50–60%, and lower operating expenses for businesses (Mining & Infrastructure, Logistics & Warehousing, Manufacturing, OEM, Healthcare).

Currently, the startup serves the APAC and MEA markets. ABB, Vedanta, Tata Steel Mining, Dr. Reddy's, Voltas, DHL, DTDC, Schneider Electric, Toshiba Mitsubishi, and Ultratech are just a few of the companies it serves as clients.

Bala Srinivasa, managing director of Arkam Ventures, commented on the news. Heuristix Digital Technologies Pvt Ltd, the company behind the skill development startup Disprz, recently completed a bridge funding round in which it raised an unknown amount of money.
