SaaS startup Ushur lands $50M Series C investment led by Third Point Ventures

Ushur, an AI-powered customer experience automation (CXA) platform with offices in Santa Clara and Bengaluru, has raised $50 million in a Series C fundraising round led by Third Point Ventures and including previous backers Iron Pillar, 8VC, Aflac Ventures, and Pentland Ventures.
To digitise the entire business customer experience, Ushur blends conversational automation and knowledge task automation in a no-code, cloud-native SaaS platform. Simha Sadasiva, CEO and Co-Founder of Ushur, notes that "the prior generation of enterprise automation was developed for infrastructure processes."
Simha continues, "We designed Ushur's AI platform with a different purpose in mind: to deliver meaningful interactions that put the demands of the customer at the centre of the experience and to provide outstanding customer experiences at scale."
The startup claims that over the course of the past year, as businesses shifted towards AI-driven automation solutions created specifically for end-to-end customer interaction apps, it has tripled its personnel, increased its customer base, and achieved a Net Revenue Retention (NRR) of 164%.
Rob Schwartz, managing partner at Third Point Ventures, "our sustained investment in Ushur further underlines our conviction that Ushur is defining a new category, one that will fundamentally revolutionise how organisations interact and service their customers at scale."
