Leading System Integrator (SI) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) of cyber security and cloud services, BeyondID, announced the completion of a $9 million Series A funding round. The financing was supported by Tercera, an investment and consulting firm specializing in the $460 billion worth cloud professional services industry.

Founded in 2017, BeyondID specializes in helping clients handle security and identity in the cloud, with a particular emphasis on Okta customers. In addition, the company is a Platinum Partner for Okta. They support clients in a number of ways, including identity and access management, secure app modernization, Zero Trust security, cloud migration and integration services, as they carry out their priorities.

"Tercera's investment will help us meet the growing demand organizations have for more secure access to their critical data and higher performing cloud identity solutions,” he added.

Shrestha brigs to the table extensive experience in technology, and has worked with Okta from its early days. Shrestha got on board the company as the leader of customer success in 2012. When he started, the startup was in the early days, with just 50 clients. Five years back, when he quit just before the IPO, the clientele had increased to more than 3,500.
