Celcius Logistics Bags $4.8 million in Pre-Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures

Cold Chain solution provider Celcius Logistics, which is a significant player in logistics sector has secured Rs. 40 crore or $4.8 million in a pre-Series B funding round led by existing investor IvyCap Ventures. popular angel investors like Mumbai Angels and Caret Capital also graced the round with their participation.

Previously, in another fundraising session, the startup has successfully lifted Rs. 100 crore or $12 million in a Series A funding round in April 2023 led by IvyCap Ventures. The freshly injected pool of fund will be used to expand expansion of Celcius Logistics' operational capabilities.

The capabilities will include enhancing their Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS), both critical components in strengthening their cold storage solutions.

The startup also wants to expand their strong footprint to over 500 cities within the next year, with an aim to support manufacturers in selling perishable products more effectively.

was founded by Swarup Bose performs as a domestic aggregator that provides comprehensive cold-chain solutions. The startup connects shippers and transporters, seamlessly by offering a one-stop solution for all cold-chain requirements. This will also include last-mile and hyperlocal deliveries, crucial for managing perishable products across various industries, particularly food and pharmaceuticals.

The startup demands that it operates 4,000 vehicles and maintains 107 cold storage facilities, 27 distribution centers, and 200 hyperlocal riders. This significantly vast network gives it golden to handle a substantial volume of perishable cargo, which has already exceeded four lakh tons, serving a diverse range of clients.

Few of their notable clients are Zomato, Spicejet, Reliance Pharma, Maersk, Prabhat Dairy, Baskin Robbins, Vadilal, Domino’s, Keventers, and Godrej Agrovet, among others.
