Consumer-tech Startup 'Billion Hearts' bags $4 million in Seed Funding
A funding round led by Blume Ventures has helped Mayank Bidawatka-led consumer tech startup; Billion Hearts.
General Catalyst and Athera Venture Partners joined in on the event. The startup raised $250,000 in September which came from the founders and top executives of RedBus, Ola, InMobi, Flipkart, Myntra, and others.
The company plans to use the proceeds from the deal to build a global team and enhance its technology, according to Bidawatka. It currently has a team of 11 members with plans to grow to 15 by early next year.
The goal is to create digital consumer products for the users worldwide by addressing under-served needs and problems of people all around the world. He said that the mobile app is being developed for the global smartphone market.
The Bengaluru-based company, which was started in August, is currently accepting sign-ups. The first product is slated to have its beta launch in early next year for selected users initially.
