Z1N Capital, Narendra Murkumbi, and Suhas Chandak contributed $300,000 (about Rs 2.4 crore) to a seed fundraising round for Zipdate Private Limited's dating website Meet7. The Mumbai-based business intends to use the money for product development and scaling up once it has reached the proof of concept stage.

Meet7, a dating site founded in 2021, use deep learning technology to give its members a safer online experience and stop problems like fraudulent profiles, catfishing, and cyberbullying. According to its claims, the site presently has 60,000 users, and it hopes to reach a million users over the next 12 months.

"The verification, the no-swipe matches, and our approach help in our culture where people are not able to express romantic feelings appropriately," said Saurabh Awasthi, co-founder of Meet7. With the money we have earned, we will expand the product beyond its current proof-of-concept stage and add new features.
