- Decode Age aims to develop research-backed diagnostics and supplements that target key aging pathways for long-term health.
Bengaluru-based longevity science startup Decode Age has raised Rs 14.48 crore (about $1.7 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, Chairman and Managing Director of Granules India. The fresh capital will help the company deepen its research capabilities and scale its science-led approach to healthy aging.
Founded in 2021, Decode Age operates at the intersection of aging biology, biomarkers, and gut microbiome science. The startup aims to make complex biological signals linked to aging measurable, actionable, and useful through advanced testing, research, and precision-driven health interventions.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its biomarker discovery programs and strengthen its multi-omics and microbiome research pipeline. Decode Age will also invest in upgrading its scientific and analytical infrastructure to support large-scale, high-quality research.
In addition to diagnostics and research, Decode Age is developing evidence-backed supplements and longevity solutions. These products target key aging pathways such as metabolism, inflammation, cellular energy, and cognitive health, with a focus on long-term wellness rather than short-term fixes.
Decode Age has built a proprietary in-house platform that supports genome-scale gut microbiome analysis, metagenomics, and biomarker research. The platform is designed to help clinicians, researchers, and individuals gain data-driven insights into aging and long-term health outcomes.
