Pranjali Awasthi, the Founder and CEO of the artificial intelligence (AI) business Delv.AI and a 16-year-old prodigy, has reached a critical milestone by receiving finance totaling about 3.7 crores. Pranjali exposed the foundation of Delv.AI at a Miami Tech Week event in January 2022, defining the beginning of her remarkable journey in this globe of AI. Pranjali’s early interest in coding was nurtured by her engineer father, who inspired her to explore computer science from a young age, with her coding journey commencing at the young age of seven.

Delv.AI, as described on its LinkedIn profile, boasts a devoted group of up to 10 employees, all contributing to the startup’s mission. The core focus of Delv.AI is the utilization of artificial intelligence to improve data extraction processes and eliminate data silos. Pranjali describes her startup as a crucial tool for researcher's exploration and efficient access to specific information within the ever-expanding realm of online content. Pranjali’s family moved to Florida, United States, when she was just 11 years old, affording her more extensive opportunities for educating herself in Computer science classes and competitive math programs.

At the remarkable age of 13, Pranjali embarked on an internship at a research lab at Florida International University. It was throughout this time that her entrepreneurial journey truly got a flight. The COVID-19 pandemic facilitated her virtual high school experience, allowing her to dedicate approximately 20 hours per week to her internship. during this time, Pranjali delved into the intricacies of machine learning projects. Her journey then led her to an AI startup accelerator in Miami, overseen by industry leaders Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot of Backend Capital.

Delv.AI’s beta the introduction on Product Hunt, a tech platform allowing the sharing of software, garnered extraordinary success. The startup secured investments from On Deck and Village Global, currently attaining a valuation of $12 million. At Delv.AI, Pranjali wears multiple hats, managing coding, operations, and customer service. While she has deferred her college goals for now to prioritize her growing company, Pranjali envisions pursuing higher education in the future to acquire the essential business skills needed for her company’s continued success.
