SuperOps.ai raises $12.4 mn in funding from Addition, March Capital

SuperOps.ai, a business that creates software for IT management services, has raised $12.4 million in funding led by March Capital and Lee Fixel's Addition, two prior investors.

Early supporter Matrix Partners India took part in the round as well. This brings the software startup's total capital raised to date to $29.4 million. In January of last year, it had secured $14 million in finance, led by Addition and Tanglin Venture Partners. It has previously received $3 million in funding from Elevation Capital and Matrix Partners.

Fixel, a former head of private equity at Tiger Global, is renowned for having backed domestic e-commerce company Flipkart early on and making investments in the new Indian economy at a time when most of his contemporaries passed up the chance. He also wagers on Ola and Delhivery. Launched by Fixel, Addition has provided domestic funding for companies like news information portal Inshorts and logistics platform Delhivery. It is now in discussions to secure an additional $1.5 billion for its fifth fund.

Addition is anticipated to have a majority of 20% in SuperOps.ai following the current increase. SuperOps will focus on outbound sales and use the additional corpus to strengthen its go-to-market strategy and increase its staff size in the US market. Additionally, it is anticipated that the corpus will be used to focus on research and development (R&D) and try to include more artificial intelligence (AI) into its products. By the next year, it also intends to enter the IT operations market.

Our products are starting to gain a lot of traction, and simply our inbound engine has already increased our annual revenues by three times over last year. Arvind Parthiban, Co-Founder and CEO of SuperOps.ai, stated, We weren't going after outbound (sales) and will look at it now with the product market fit and look at channel partner expansion.

SuperOps.ai is a professional service automation (PSA) and remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform that offers helpdesk, monitoring, IT documentation, and project management solutions on a single unified interface. It was founded by Parthiban and Jayakumar Karumbasalam, Co-Founders of Zarget and Former Freshworks Executive. The software uses artificial intelligence to assist teams in managing workflows and giving priority to incoming tickets.
