Separator
Ohm Mobility, a platform for financing electric vehicles, has raised $366,278 (about Rs 3 crore) in a pre-seed funding round headed by Antler India. The Blume Founders Fund and additional angel investors like Sagar Gubbi from Ecoforge, Anshuman Bapna from Terra.do, Mathew Chako from Spice Route Legal, and Karishma Menon also participated in the round.

The business intends to use the additional funds to expand its technological foundation and hire personnel. Nikhil Nair founded Ohm in 2020 with the intention of giving institutional investors a platform to invest in electric vehicle players while also making it easier for lenders to find, assess, and fund EV startups.

Numerous EV businesses have joined the technology platform and are seeking funding from banks, NBFCs, leasing companies, and other financial institutions that can find, verify, and disburse capital to such businesses.

The startup's client portfolio includes businesses like Race Energy (battery technology), Eveez (EV Fleet), and Hala Mobility (E-MaaS platform). Within the first two months of going live, the startup claims to have facilitated Rs 5 crore worth of financing on its platform. Additionally, it has the support of angel investors like Kunal Shah and the fintech and climate finance accelerator Catalyst Fund.
