
Financial Protection Platform Insuremile Secures $350,000 from Seeders

Insuremile, a rural India-focused financial protection marketplace, has secured $350,000 in pre-seed capital with the goal of bringing insurance services to the hinterlands while allowing the country's over 200 million gig-workforce to be a part of this success storey.
Seeders, an early-stage angel organisation, spearheaded the investment round. This round of fundraising was spearheaded by Parthiv Neotia, director of Ambuja Neotia Group, and Abhishek Rungta, CEO of Indus Net Technologies.
According to Mallesh Reddy, co-founder of Insuremile, “India’s gig economy comprising more than 200 million workforces generates significant traction across various industries. At Insuremile, our vision is to provide these gig workers with targeted insurance products aiming at financial security. We will accomplish this using our unique products, distribution model and touchpoints with partners.”
It has onboarded 2000 colleagues so far to help with last-mile insurance education, awareness, and sales. During the beta phase, the team sold over 25000 insurance. It has developed a solid framework to enable social marketing of insurance plans through its partners.
