Global Employment Platform Skuad Raises $4 Million in Seed Round

Global onboarding platform, Skuad that enables clients to hire, pay and manage globally distributed teams with ease has raised $4 million in seed funding. The round of funding was led by global VC firms BEENEXT and Anthemis Group, along with Alto Partners Multi-Family Office and Rohan Monga, CEO, Zenius Education among others. The company intends to use the fresh infusion of capital to grow its remote employment infrastructure and scale its growth team in multiple geographies.

Founded in 2019, Skuad has built a platform that provides a single interface to onboard and manage employees as well as contractors in any country.The startup was founded by a team of talented and experienced professions including Sundeep Sahi, former Chief Product Officer, Brand Networks & ex-Microsoft; Naman Singhal, former CEO, AppStreet; and Dave Fall, former CEO Brand Networks & ex-Google. Together, the team has designed a platform that creates fully compliant onboarding contracts and payrolls making it simpler for companies to hire and manage global technology teams.

Skuad currently has a network spread across over 150 countries across South East Asia, Africa and North America. The startup caters to big ticket firms such as Airtel, Zenius, Gojek, Zeta, SehatQ and Metric Digital to name a few.
