Independent Verification Platform 'You Care Lifestyle' nets $1 million Fund

You Care Lifestyle (YCL), an independent verification platform, has raised $1 million in an investment round led by Luke Coutinho and Narendra Firodia, who are also co-founders of the business.
According to a press statement from YCL, the money raised will be utilized to improve the procedures for product identification and verification as well as to support and invest in up-and-coming clean businesses, assisting them in growing and winning over customers.
You Care Lifestyle, an independent verification organization in the health and wellness sector, was introduced this year. The business confirms the quality, safety, and purity of goods and services in a number of areas, such as food, groceries, nutraceuticals, cosmetics and personal care products, pathology labs, and other lifestyle-related services.
The business, which is based in Mumbai, wants to provide a reliable third-party verification platform that tackles important problems like mislabeling and false information and encourages consumers to make more educated decisions.
YCL seeks to enable customers to prioritize health-conscious choices and encourage them to select genuine products, while also empowering brands to prioritize health-conscious products and maintain the highest quality standards.
YCL seeks to onboard brands and broaden the company's product offerings. By the end of 2025, the company hopes to have tested and validated between 90 and 100 brands in the food and cosmetics industries.
According to the firm, it has signed with 37 items, 24 of which have passed independent laboratory testing, and 18 of which are being offered for sale online.
Luke Coutinho, Founder, You Care Lifestyle, says,”India’s consumer landscape is evolving, and with that comes a responsibility to ensure that people have access to genuinely clean and high-quality products. With YCL, our goal is to bridge the gap between authenticity and consumer trust by creating a rigorous and reliable third-party verification system. We are not just investing in a business; we are investing in a movement that champions ethical brands and empowers consumers to make informed choices. This is the future of clean commerce, and we are excited to build it.”
Narendra Firodia, Co-Founder, You Care Lifestyle, states, “Building an honest food chain is not just about setting high standards, it’s about supporting the brands that uphold them. At YCL, we are committed to identifying and investing in businesses that share our vision of transparency, integrity, and consumer well-being. By backing businesses that prioritize honesty and quality, we are shaping the future of the wellness industry in India and beyond.”
