India Accelerator unveils Cohort'25 with $10 million Funding: Aiming to invest in 30-35 Startups
The 2025 Cohort of startup accelerator India Accelerator (IA) has begun. IA stated in a press release that this program will accelerate 30-35 startups across transformative sectors and assist them in turning ideas into scalable, market-ready businesses. As part of the cohort, it plans to invest $8–10 million.
The cohort, which is scheduled to start in Q1 2025, is completely focused on practical use cases that tackle pressing issues such as eCommerce ecosystems, sustainable mobility, autonomous drones for civil and military applications, and GenAI solutions.
The goal of India Accelerator & Finvolve is to empower entrepreneurs to make significant, market-driven contributions. Beyond just funding, Startup Cohort'25 will offer a complete ecosystem of support, ranging from customized go-to-market tactics to industry expert’s connections via a dedicated mentor board.
The cohort will concentrate on businesses developing self-governing drones that can be used for both military and civilian purposes. These drones will be seamlessly integrated into logistics, defense reconnaissance, and agricultural monitoring systems. It will also cover a variety of other topics, including impact labs, generative AI, energy, mobility, and connectivity.
IA claims that the cohort will offer a carefully selected network of industry professionals from the robotics, artificial intelligence, mobility, and impact-driven sectors to offer sector-specific advice and guarantee that every startup receives specialized strategic support.
With the help of IA's wide network of investors and business alliances, startups can obtain personalized playbooks to help them launch, grow, and gain market share. Two-thirds of the 225 startups that IA claims to have accelerated are seeking additional funding.
