Iztri, a Bengaluru-based clothing-care startup, has raised Rs 1.5 crore ($180,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Aviral Bhatnagar’s AJVC. The company plans to use the new capital to grow its network across Bengaluru and build stronger technology and supply chain systems to support this expansion.

Iztri operates a structured, tech-enabled ironing and clothing-care service in a market that is still largely unorganized despite heavy daily demand. Founded by Rohit Ramesh and Ankit Choudhary, the startup is working to standardize service quality, improve reliability for customers, and create stable, safer working conditions for ironing professionals.

The company is building a hyperlocal model that focuses on predictable turnaround times, route optimization, and demand consolidation. Iztri says its approach helps workers earn more by reducing idle time and increasing efficiency. As it scales, the startup is also investing in processing hubs and workforce training to strengthen operations.

AJVC, known for backing early-stage Indian startups in tech, consumer, and impact sectors, recently closed its debut fund at over Rs 200 crore, double its initial target. The firm’s recent investments include civic tech platform Jaagruk Bharat, auto service marketplace GaadiMech.com, celebration-wear jewelry brand Nuyug, and Mithila Foods, which focuses on Bihar-based food products.

With this new round of funding, Iztri plans to sharpen its technology layers for workflow management, customer experience, and real-time operational tracking as it expands its footprint across Bengaluru.
