KorinMi, India's first Korean skin clinic that it claims to be, has raised Rs 3 crore in the pre-seed round led by a set of distinguished angel investors and CXOs that includes Vikas Agarwal, ex-CEO Kaya Skin Clinic (Middle East) and Vivek Kumar, CEO of Venture Garage.

The startup intends to utilize the funds raised to fast-track its expansion plans, build its technology stack, increase marketing efforts, and create Korean skincare treatments specifically designed for Indian skin types.

What does KorinMi do?

Established in 2024 by Reshbha Munjal and Jenovia Daun Jung, KorinMi combines Korean skincare knowledge, technology, and products with treatments specifically designed for Indian skin.

"While K-beauty is popular in India, there was a significant lack of professional Korean skin clinics with science-backed, dermatologist-approved treatments specifically suited to Indian skin, highlighting the demand for clinically proven, expert-led Korean skincare solutions in India," said Reshbha Munjal, Co-founder & CEO of KorinMi.

"With KorinMi, we are filling that gap with genuine professional Korean products, state-of-the-art technology, and customized solutions."

Central to its service is a 3d skin analysis technology, engineered in Korea, which analyzes more than 15 skin parameters to offer accurate, data-based diagnoses. This allows KorinMi's dermatologists and skincare specialists to create bespoke regimes for customers, from non-surgical facials to more intensive clinical treatments. It is supported by Korean skincare specialists and dermatologist-tested protocols.

“We’re offering a whole new category of professional skincare precision-driven, results-oriented, and grounded in Korean dermatological science,” said co-founder and COO Jenovia Daun Jung.

Operational profitability within six months

KorinMi launched its first clinic in Worldmark Sector-65, Gurugram, six months ago and says it has achieved operational profitability in that period. It has since opened a second clinic in Delhi-NCR and aims to expand to 25 clinics in key metros like Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad in the next three years.
Aside from its clinical presence, the company is also venturing into the direct-to-consumer (D2C) space with a range of professional-level Korean homecare skincare items.

"KorinMi has entered this category with unusual authenticity, cutting-edge intelligence, and extraordinary precision. What impressed me most was not only the power of the idea, but the founders' clarity and confidence in executing a bold, unique vision. KorinMi is not merely a clinic; it's the cornerstone of a category-defining brand," said investor Vikas Agarwal.
