Legal-tech startup Lawyered has raised Rs 8.5 crore on business reality show IdeaBaaz, marking the largest funding deal ever announced on Indian television. The round was closed at Rs 120 crore pre-money valuation and saw a rare all-Titans backing.

The investment brings together a strong group of backers, including Pawan Jaggi, venture investor Sandesh Sharda, The Sleep Company co-founder Priyanka Salot, and Arjun Vaidya. According to the company, the fresh capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, scale technology infrastructure, expand nationwide reach, and strengthen brand visibility.

Founded in 2018 by Himanshu Gupta, Gurugram-based Lawyered offers tech-enabled legal assistance designed to make legal services more accessible and proactive. The startup began with a focus on the mobility and logistics sector, building platforms such as LOTS247, India’s roadside legal assistance service, and ChallanPay, a solution for traffic challan discovery and resolution.

Over time, Lawyered has expanded its services to cover legal compliance, documentation, and advisory support for individuals, businesses, and startups across India. The platform operates through a network of over 70,000 lawyers and uses AI-driven tools to simplify legal processes.

Lawyered claims it has helped more than 600,000 vehicles and 800 businesses stay compliant, resolved over 200,000 legal matters, and saved users over Rs 50 crore in penalties and operational downtime.

Calling the funding a major validation, Founder and CEO Himanshu Gupta said the all-Titans deal reinforces the need for a strong legal infrastructure at a national level. He added that the funds will help scale LOTS247, grow ChallanPay, and support Lawyered’s goal of becoming a trusted mobility-compliance ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Lawyered plans to expand into finance, real estate, healthcare, and other sectors, aiming to make legal services preventive, seamless, and part of everyday life.
