Influencer marketing startup One Impression, founded by brothers Apaksh Gupta and Jivesh Gupta, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by South Korean gaming major Krafton. The company announced that it will use the money to enhance its product line, quicken product development, and increase its market share abroad, starting with Southeast Asia and the United Arab Emirates.

One Impression most recently received $1 million in seed funding from angel investors including Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra, Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal, and Lenskart founder Peeyush Bansal, among others.

With the help of the capital, the Gurugram-based startup also aims to reach $40 million in annual recurring revenues by 2024, the company statement said. The platform transacts with creators ranging from celebrities to influencers generating over 100,000 content pieces for more than 500 brands in over 10 languages.

“We believe that this partnership will help us accelerate our mission of being the global flag bearer of the creator economy. The ecosystem currently lacks a structured platform and our products will enable speed, scale, science, and reliability for all stakeholders in the industry, helping unlock the true power of this industry,” founder and CEO of One Impression, Apaksh Gupta, said.

One Impression’s platform works with brands including Cetaphil, Meesho and MamaEarth to drive growth with influencer-led initiatives. It moves these brands away from working with multiple agencies or in-house teams to its single platform for end-to-end management of influencer marketing campaigns.

"At Krafton, we are committed to the Indian market and see huge potential here. Since 2021, we have contributed almost $100 million to a number of Indian businesses. Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of Krafton India, remarked that our investment in One Impression is a step towards enhancing this ecosystem and generating development potential. PUBG Studios, Bluehole Studio, Striking Distance Studios, RisingWings, Dreamotion, Unknown Worlds, and 5minlab make up the South Korean collection of independent game development studios.

Together with other entertainment projects, it is responsible for Battlegrounds Mobile India and PUBG: Battlegrounds. It has so far contributed more than $100 million to a number of Indian businesses, including Pratilipi, Nodwin Gaming, and Kuku FM. The One Impression group now has more than 100 members and was founded in 2018. By the end of March, it hopes to have doubled its staff in several crucial areas, including sales, technology, and creative supply.
