MedySeva Secures Rs 4 Crore to Expand Rural Healthcare Network
- Raises Rs 4 Crore in seed round led by Unicorn India Ventures
- Plans to scale hybrid healthcare clinics across Tier-II and Tier-III cities
- Aims to open 500 phygital centers in the next two years
Healthtech startup MedySeva has raised Rs 4 crore in a seed funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The fresh capital will help the company expand its 'phygital' healthcare model, combining teleconsultation with in-person doctor visits, across underserved Tier-II and Tier-III regions.
Founded in 2022 by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, MedySeva is building a hybrid healthcare ecosystem to make quality care accessible in rural and semi-urban India. Its centralized telemedicine platform connects patients to doctors across multiple specialties, backed by physical clinics for on-ground support.
MedySeva has already delivered over 1 lakh consultations in the past year and reports a 60% patient retention rate. Its partnerships with medical colleges, pharmacies, and local providers are helping build a strong care network at the grassroots level.

With this funding, the company plans to scale to 2 lakh annual consultations in the next 18 months, onboard more doctors, and enhance its digital platform. MedySeva also aims to launch over 500 hybrid clinics and enter five new states through government and institutional tie-ups.
Competing with platforms like Practo, Medibuddy, and CureBay, MedySeva focuses primarily on bridging the healthcare access gap outside major metros.
