- Deepak Shapeti of Morphing Machines and Shlomi Ben Haim of JFrog shared insights on innovation, growth strategies, and India’s evolving role in global tech.
- Morphing Machines raised Rs 38 crore in Series A funding to develop a many-core processor for AI and data center workloads, aiming to boost India’s semiconductor capabilities.
- Both leaders emphasized building scalable, flexible ecosystems that foster experimentation, long-term thinking, and global competitiveness in technology.
Deepak Shapeti, Co-Founder and CEO of Bengaluru deeptech startup Morphing Machines, and Shlomi Ben Haim, Co-Founder and CEO of multinational software company JFrog, recently spoke about innovation, scale, and India's changing place in the tech landscape. Their conversations highlighted the opportunities and challenges of creating high-impact tech businesses in India, emphasizing how Indian startups are increasingly defining global tech trends through deep knowledge and visionary thinking.
Morphing Machines, which was nurtured at the Indian Institute of Science, has just raised Rs 38 crore in a Series A funding round headed by IAN Alpha Fund, with further contribution from Speciale Invest, IvyCap Ventures, and Navam Capital. This fundraise is a milestone for the startup, allowing it to speed up research and development activities and push India's semiconductor aspirations. The capital will be mainly utilized for the development of the company's multi-core processor, a revolutionary technology to address increasing needs of data centers and artificial intelligence workloads.
The multi-core processor is designed to provide a balance of speed, flexibility, and power efficiency, addressing essential performance constraints in existing computing infrastructure. With its ability to facilitate highly parallel processing, the technology is made to maximize efficiency in computation while keeping energy draw low, making it ideal for AI-heavy applications and data center operations on a massive scale.
