NeoSapien Secures $2 Million Seed Funding to Advance AI Wearables

AI wearable startup NeoSapien has raised $2 million (Rs 18 crore) in a seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from several well-known angel investors such as Pixxel founder Awais Ahmed, Anupam Mittal, boAt co-founder Sameer Mehta, Namita Thapar, Aprameya Radhakrishna, and others. The Bengaluru-based company had earlier secured $92.4K from Namita Thapar and additional backers.
The company plans to use the new capital to speed up product development, strengthen its market presence, and expand its team across key verticals.
Founded in 2024 by Dhananjay Yadav and Aryan Yadav, NeoSapien positions itself as a next-generation AI company focused on building intelligent wearables. Its flagship device, Neo 1, is designed as an AI-native wearable that works like a “second brain.” The always-on device captures everyday conversations, builds long-term memory, and offers real-time insights without constant user input. It supports 100+ languages, ranging from Kannada to Mandarin, and blends contextual intelligence with custom hardware to help users organize interactions and daily tasks effortlessly.

NeoSapien also aims to become the core operating system for future AI assistants, powering devices like smart glasses, pendants, watches, and rings. Its NeoCore SDK will allow developers and businesses to build applications on top of its intelligence layer.
Merak Ventures, led by Manu Rikhye and Sheetal Bahl, continues to invest in early-stage companies creating meaningful impact in B2B and emerging tech sectors.
