Protectt.ai Secures $8.7 Million to Fortify Mobile App Security & Expand Global Footprint
Protectt.ai, a mobile app security & fraud management platform, has raised Rs 76 crore (approximately $8.7 million) in its Series A funding round from Bessemer Venture Partners.
Funding proceeds will go towards building the AI-based mobile app security solution platform, driving product innovation, creating new solutions for AI Security, and supporting its global expansion plans in the US, Middle East & APAC.
Started by Manish Mimani and Mohanraj Selvaraj, Protectt.ai provides a range of mobile app security solutions, aimed at protecting mobile apps against new cyber threats & frauds. It is also a global compliance center for mobile app owners who are required to comply with regulations of organizations like RBI, SEBI, NPCI and other regulatory organizations.
Its mobile app XDR Platform provides powerful protection against ever-changing cyber threats, fraud, and malicious attacks, keeping mobile business and global users secure.
Protectt.ai boasts to have protected more than 300 million smartphones, handling around 2 billion mobile app sessions each month while blocking 200 million cyber threats and fraud incidents each month.
Also, the platform is a compliance center that maintains compliance with regulatory mandates of the Reserve Bank of India, the Securities and Exchange Board of India, and the National Payments Corporation of India.
