AI powered app development startup Rocket.new has raised $15 million in a seed funding round led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Accel and Together Fund. The fresh capital will help the startup accelerate growth, expand its global reach, and invest in R&D to enhance its AI driven development platform.
Launched just three months ago in June, Rocket.new allows users to build full, production ready applications using natural language prompts, making it easier for product managers, solopreneurs, and developers to go from idea to execution without writing code.
Unlike many 'vibe-coding' platforms that quickly generate prototypes, Rocket.new positions itself as a tool for building serious, scalable applications from the start. Co-founder and CEO Vishal Virani says the platform has already gained over 400,000 users across 180 countries, including more than 10,000 paid subscribers, generating an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $4.5 million. The team now aims to scale ARR to $20-25 million by year end, and $60-70 million by mid-next year.
The funding comes as Rocket.new sees increasing demand from users in the U.S. (its largest market), Europe, and India. To support its global user base, the startup is setting up a U.S. headquarters in Palo Alto.

The platform uses a combination of LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, along with Rocket.new’s proprietary deep learning systems. Its current version (v0.3) has already built over 500,000 applications, from e-commerce and fintech apps to B2B tools and mental health platforms.
With strong early traction and a growing team of 58, Rocket.new plans to double its engineering and product staff in India over the next year to support expansion and product development.
