SaaS Company Rocketlane raises $18 million led by 8VC & Others

Rocketlane, a software as a service (SaaS) company, has raised $18 million in a Series A fundraising round led by 8VC and including Nexus VP and Matrix Partners.

The cash will be used to enhance product offerings, expedite marketing, and expand the company's personnel.

Gokul Rajaram, an angel investor, has also contributed to the newest round. The startup received $3 million in venture funding from Matrix Partners India and Nexus Venture Partners in June of last year.

“The company’s average month-on-month revenue growth has been upwards of 30%,” said Srikrishnan Ganesan, CEO and cofounder, Rocketlane.

Linksquares, ParcelLab, ReleaseHub, Appcues, ContractPod AI, Chargebee, Delhivery, Yellow.ai, Moengage, Webengage, AccelData, Netcore, MSD, and Pando are just a few of Rocketlane's clients.

“Customer onboarding represents a new two-sided project management problem that simply cannot be addressed by a patchwork of existing project management tools,” says Bhaskar Ghosh, partner and chief technology officer of 8VC.

Rocketlane is a purpose-built unified workspace for engaging with customers for onboarding initiatives, founded in 2020 by two-time entrepreneur trio Ganesan, Vignesh Girishankar, and Deepak Bala.

After Freshworks acquired their chat firm Konotor (which powered chat in applications including Zomato, Swiggy, and BigBasket) in 2015, the founders oversaw Freshchat at Freshworks. In June of last year, the business debuted its product.

“The Rocketlane team is off to a fast start towards establishing category leadership in the customer onboarding domain and has grown at a rapid clip in the last nine months,” says Vikram Vaidyanathan, managing director, Matrix India.

Businesses may use the platform to reduce time-to-value, streamline software implementations, and gain real-time insight.
